In preparation for our forum August 8 (register here), the six Democrats running were asked to complete a questionnaire. This is intended both to help us develop questions for the forum and to let the candidates weigh in on more topics than can be covered at the forum.
Each candidate’s response appears, unedited, below.
Note that the items in the “Core Democratic Values” section were taken almost verbatim from the Education section of the platform of the California Democratic Party.
