Support Culver City Unified School District
Retain qualified teachers and maintain excellent education, without increasing taxes
CCUSD is proud of our excellent public schools, highly-qualified teachers, and staff that work hard to ensure local students are prepared for college and future careers.
Since 2018, our students have relied on locally controlled parcel tax funding from Measure K to protect and improve the excellent education of our local schools. However, Measure K is set to expire soon, meaning CCUSD schools would face significant budget cuts, threatening teachers and academic programs.
Skilled teachers are one of the most important elements of our strong educational program. Without renewed local funding, we are at risk of losing these highly-qualified teachers to neighboring districts.
That’s why we need Measure O. By renewing our current funding source, without increasing taxes, we can ensure that CCUSD schools maintain quality education and provide students with excellent teachers to set them up for success.
YES on O will support Culver City students by:
• Attracting & Retaining Expert Teachers
• Supporting Math, Science & College Readiness Instructional Programs
• Up-to-date technology and Hands-On Science
• Career-Readiness
• Supporting student success in and out of the classroom
• Supporting our Music & Arts programs
Financial accountability and local control
• All funds will be used only to upgrade local Culver City schools, the State cannot take any away
• Citizens’ oversight, public spending disclosure, and annual audits ensure responsible spending
• Senior citizens will continue to be exempt
A YES vote on Measure O will provide funding, without increasing taxes, to attract and retain skilled teachers, ensuring local students receive quality education and are prepared for future success.
Join local parents, teachers, businesses, and community leaders in voting YES on O so all Culver City students can continue to receive the quality education they deserve!
