At this first DNC meeting we heard from DNC officers including DNC Chair Jaime Harrison! Chair Harrison thanked all of the DNC officers, DNC Members, staff, and volunteers for making this historic Democratic National Convention a BIG success! An in memoriam was held recognizing the longtime, dedicated service to the DNC of recently passed DNC staff member, Marvin Turner. Chicago Mayor, Brandon Johnson, thanked the DNC for its partnership and expressed pride in hosting the DNC in beautiful Chicago. DNC Finance Chair, Chris Korge, reported on the record breaking fundraising by the party and Harris-Walz. Harris-Walz Campaign Manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, spoke about the record breaking volunteer sign ups and enthusiasm for Harris-Walz.
