This month we have a panel of speakers: Jackie Goldberg, candidate for Los Angeles School Board in the March 5 special election; Dr. Kelly Kent, President of the Culver City School Board, and Rod Wright, former California state senator. We’ll hear about the Teachers’ Strike, Charter Schools, and Education Funding. Program begins at 8 PM (Follows business meeting which begins at 7 PM) Earlier in the evening, Shannon Theus will perform two short poems in honor of Black History Month.
