After a 90-minute candidate forum on January 26, Culver City Democratic Club members were sent ballot links by the online voting company ElectionBuddy.com.
On the ballot were the three Democrats who participated in the forum: State Assembly member Sydney Kamlager, Culver City vice Mayor Daniel Lee, and State Commissioner Cheryl Turner.
Daniel Lee won the endorsement with just over sixty percent of the vote. State Assembly member Kamlager got thirty-eight percent of the vote.
